Daimer Industries Announces New Cold-Water, Wet-Sandblasting Pressure Washers
New electric-powered Super Max(TM) machines offer high-performance features for industrial customers.
WOBURN, MA - July 24, 2009 - Daimer Industries, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, introduced the Super Max(TM) 8730 WS and 8750 WS, cold-water pressure washers featuring wet-sandblasting systems and adjustable pressure options.
"These new electric-powered pressure washers combine sandblasting with high pressure levels and flow rates," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer spokesman. "The machines are ideal for eliminating corrosion and the heaviest industrial deposits."
The Wet-Sand Blasting System
Each pressure washer includes a wet-sandblasting kit consisting of a flexible 15-foot sand pickup tube, sand point and a special venturi head, which creates a uniform blast pattern and increases the sand velocity. The wet-sandblasting systems can be used with a wide range of sand-grit sizes as well as different media, such as baking soda and small plastic pellets.
The wet-sandblasting kits use high-pressure water. As a result, the systems are safer to use than those employing compressed air, which requires the operator to wear special breathing apparatus.
The Super Max(TM) 8730 WS and 8750 WS pressure washers offer dual- or multi-pressure selection as option at additional cost. Multi-gun operation is also available as an option at additional cost.
The Products
Super Max(TM) 8730 WS pressure washers generate pressure levels of up to 2500 psi and flow rates of up to four GPM. The machines are powered by a 7.5 HP electric motor. The 8750 WS pressure washers generate pressure levels of up to 3000 psi, flow rates of up to five GPM and are powered by a 10 HP electric motor.
Both of these mobile pressure washers are on wheels and include: a 25-foot, high-pressure steam hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect; assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case. The machines support chemical infusion via pressure injection.
