Best Bright(TM) Number 3 offers mirror-like surface finish. Used to produce appliance housings/components, automotive parts, and other items that require high luster surface finish, it eliminates need for plating and enhances nickel, chrome, brass, or copper plating. It is available with number 3 or 4 temper rating, thicknesses from 0.016 to 0.115 in., and tolerance of ±0.00025 in. It can be provided in custom edge finishes, widths, and lengths.

Dover, OH - Best Bright(TM) Number 3 cold rolled strip steel from Greer Steel offers a mirror-like surface finish. This specially rolled steel is commonly used to produce appliance housings and components, automotive and motorcycle parts, hardware items and other products where a high luster surface finish is required. Its exceptionally bright finish can eliminate the need for plating, or enhance nickel, chrome, brass or copper plating.
Greer's Best Bright Number 3 steel is available with a number 3 or 4 temper rating, and from 0.016" to 0.115" in thickness with a tolerance of +/- 0.00025". It can be provided in edge finishes, widths and lengths to meet customer requirements.
Greer Steel, founded in 1917, produces cold rolled strip steel to customer specifications including low and high carbon alloys from 0.200" to 0.187" thick in grades from 1006 to 1095. A variety of surface finishes, tempers, and edge types are also available.
