Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics recently introduced two new coil air products, Synflex® Sidewinder and Synflex XLT (eXtreme Low Temperature). Utilizing their materials and extrusion expertise, combined with their patent-pending assembly construction, Saint-Gobain's new coils out-perform traditional coil air products, with superior flexibility, improved fitting retention and better cold temperature performance.
Synflex Sidewinder is designed for customers who want to get more out of their traditional coil air products. It features over 50% improved flexibility in cold temperature environments, 35% stronger fitting retention and 10 times better flex-abrasion resistance, when tested side-by-side against similar coil air assemblies.
Synflex XLT is designed for extreme, low temperature applications with approval for use in temperatures down to -65°F /-53°C. Synflex XLT provides the same performance advantages as the Synflex Sidewinder in addition to 4 times quicker recovery after extension.
