Mini Coax Single Row - Compact Solution for Analogue Signal Transmission up to 4 GHz
The Mini Coax Single Row System is a new concept, which allows a higher transmission rate compared to the standard Mini Coax connector.
First of all HARTING developed ganged "Board-to-Cable" connectors with up to 10 coaxial contacts. Now they satisfied the customer's requirement of significant miniaturization. The centreline distance of the coaxial contacts was increased from 6.25 mm to 8 mm while the number of contacts was decreased to 3. With this design the isolation increases to 80 dB by reducing reflection, raising the upper frequency limit from 2.5 GHz to 4 GHz. In addition, the Mini Coax Single Row can easily replace SMA connectors due to its simple assembly. The right-angled modules are also available as pre-assembled cables and both can be pressed in user friendly and reliable flat rock dies.
Due to their excellent crosstalk features, HARTING's Mini Coax connectors are suitable for high-end equipment within cellular telecom infrastructure allowing for a minimal slot distance of 15 mm.
