WEAResistâ„¢ Abrasion Resistant Coating Material Developed by Blasch

Decrease Downtime And Improve Service Life In High Wear Areas

ALBANY, NY (June 12, 2003) - Scientists at Blasch Precision Ceramics have developed a material to improve the service life of components subjected to high abrasion or high temperature environments. WEAResistâ„¢, a high performance, engineered polymer/ceramic coating can be applied to virtually any surface requiring protection from harsh operating environments.

Unlike other coating materials available, WEAResistâ„¢ remains pliable when cured, thus absorbing impact and improving the abrasion resistant properties. Another important feature is the ease of use. WEAResistâ„¢ is a one-part formulation requiring no mixing. WEAResistâ„¢ will fully cure in eight (8) hours at temperatures ranging from 0 to 210 degrees F.

WEAResistâ„¢ can be used to protect a variety of components such as:

- Elbows

- Pipe linings

- Impact pads

- I.D. Fans

- Condenser/evaporator tubesheets

- Air heater tubesheets

WEAResistâ„¢ is available in two sizes - one (1) gallon and one (1) quart buckets, and can be purchased using Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, or American Express. Shipment is typically within 24 hours of receipt of order.
