SEATTLE, Jan. 22 -- In its focused pursuit to bring the breakthrough benefits of clustered storage to the broadest spectrum of businesses, Isilon® Systems (NASDAQ:ISLN), the leader in clustered storage, today announced the release of the Isilon IQ 200. Leveraging Isilon's OneFS® operating system software, which powers all of Isilon's clustered storage systems, the Isilon IQ 200 is the industry's first product to pack the revolutionary benefits of high-end enterprise clustered storage -- including unmatched ease of use, performance and "pay as you grow" scalability -- into an extremely affordable and compact solution. This new class of clustered storage enables businesses of all sizes to speed access to critical stores of digital content while dramatically reducing the cost and complexity of storing and managing it. A number of Isilon customers have already deployed more than 50 units of the Isilon IQ 200 before its official launch.
