Designed to clamp on to outside of pipe with IDs from 13–3,800 mm, TFX Ultra™ provides flow measurement readings for full pipe liquid applications. Unit is also available as energy flow meter, measuring energy usage in kWh, mWh, and BTUs. Housed in aluminum enclosure, meter features digital display, bi-directional flow measurement, and totalizer that provides forward, reverse, and net total. TFX Ultra also offers pulse and 4-20 mA signals, optional Ethernet connection, and USB programming port.

Fixed Ultrasonic Flow and Energy Meter for Liquids
United Kingdom, -- Dynasonics has developed an ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter named the TFX Ultra™. It provides accurate and repeatable flow measurement readings for full pipe liquid applications in 13mm to 3800mm internal diameter pipes such as; zone metering, water distribution and flow measurement applications where system shutdown is not feasible. The TFX Ultra is also available as an energy flow meter measuring energy usage in kWh, mWh and BTU’s, and is ideal for retrofit, LTHW / MTHW circuits, chilled water and other HVAC applications.
The unit is designed to simply clamp-on to the outside of existing pipe, reducing installation time and material costs. There is no need to shut down the process for installation or maintenance, therefore the TFX Ultra can be installed and fully operational in minutes. With no moving parts, there is no mechanical wear - no repair kits or replacement parts are ever needed.
The TFX Ultra features a rugged, compact aluminium enclosure, easy-to-read digital display, bi-directional flow measurement, and a totalizer featuring forward, reverse and net total, and Modbus or BACnetcommunications. The TFX Ultra also offers pulse and 4-20mA signals, an optional Ethernet connection as well as a USB programming port. With ease of operation a key component in designing the Series TFX Ultra, a Windows® based software utility UltraLink is available for free and compatible with all Dynasonics transit time flow meters to allow users to easily configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot with a Laptop PC.
