Available in sizes ranging from 2-27 positions, Micro-Miniature Circular Connectors have contacts arranged on 0.050 in. pitch. Devices utilize military-quality contact system, and when combined with jacketed cable, can be sealed to IP67 rating. Operating from -25 to 105°C, connectors feature current rating of 3 A per contact, dielectric withstand voltage of 600 Vac Rms, insulation resistance of 5,000 MW at 500 Vdc, and contact resistance of 26 mW at 2.5 A.

Omnetics' High Density Micro-Miniature Circular Connectors Now Available with Twist Lock Metal Shells
Simple locking mechanism; IP67 sealing available
Omnetics Connector Corporation, the leading manufacturer of miniature high-rel connectors, has announced that its micro series circular connectors are now available with twist lock metal shells. The locking mechanism requires just a simple quarter turn - similar to the action commonly used in BNC connectors. When combined with a jacketed cable, Omnetics' new high density circular connectors can be sealed to IP67 ratings.
The new twist lock circulars are available in sizes ranging from 2 to 27 positions and have contacts arranged on a 0.050in (.635mm) pitch. Utilizing a military-quality contact system these connectors are ideal for applications where size weight and rugged reliability are critical. Many standard and custom options are available including bulkhead mounts, cable harnesses, specialty metals and plating.
Current-carrying capability is 3A per contact, and dielectric withstand voltage is 600VAC RMS. Insulation resistance is 5000MW (min) at 500VDC; contact resistance is 26mW (65mV) (max) at 2.5A. Operating temperature range is -25 to 105degC and the connectors can withstand vibration forces of 20G and 30G shock without suffering any discontinuities of greater than 10µs.
