Hard Cap Technologies Introduces Hard Cap Safety Tool Line
Hard Cap Technologies of Baltimore, Maryland has reinvented the basic chisel and punch product line by adding an unbreakable polymer cap and oil resistant cushion grip resulting in tools that are safer, more accurate and comfortable to use. According to the company, the objective is to reduce noise, vibration and spalling associated with hand struck tools while improving the cutting power and safety performance.
Research was provided by the University of Delaware with technological support from DuPontŪ. Hard Cap was shown to protect the hands of the user, optimize cutting force and durability, while reducing vibration and noise. The striking surface is two and a half times larger than a plain punch or chisel and eliminates flying chips as well as mushrooming heads.
