Screened in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342, PFC-HF MIL Series chip resistor terminators are available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 packages with power ratings of 100, 150, and 250 mW at 70°C, respectively. Units offer impedance values of 50 or 75 W, operating temperature from -55 to +125°C, and tolerances to ±10%, ±5%, ±2%, and ±1%. Characterized to 6 GHz, terminators are suited for isolators, combiners, satellites, RF sensing, wireless communication, and RFID applications.

IRC's High Frequency Chip Terminator Screened to MIL-PRF-55342
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (December 10, 2007) -- Providing design engineers with a high frequency device that meets military requirements, TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division offers a high frequency chip resistor terminator screened in accordance with MIL-PRF-55342. Designated the PFC-HF MIL Series, the terminator features IRC's proprietary self-passivating TaNFilm® element, providing reliability and excellent high frequency performance.
"Traditionally, MIL screened chip resistors have been limited to low frequency applications," said Jerry Seams, applications engineering manager for IRC Advanced Film Division. "Screening our PFC-HF Series high frequency chip terminators to MIL-PRF-55342 enables military and space customers to use the product for those high reliability applications that also require operation at high frequencies."
The PFC-HF Series terminator is ideal for high frequency applications including isolators, combiners, satellites, RF sensing, wireless communication, RFID and high speed digital transmission line termination.
Available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 packages and characterized to 6GHz, the PFC-HF MIL chip resistor terminators feature power ratings of 100mW, 150mW, and 250mW @ 70°C, respectively. Tolerances are available to ±10%, ±5%, ±2% and ±1%, and impedance values are either 50W or 75W. Operating temperature range is from -55°C to +125°C.
Terminations are plated 60/40 Tin/Lead.
Pricing for the PFC-HF high frequency terminator is $2.75 each in quantities of 500 pieces. Lead time is from stock to 14 weeks.
