November 10, 2010 - Designed with no compressors or CFCs, Peltier-based Models IN35 and IN45 have 27.5 and 55 L volume, respectively, with temperature range of 4.0-70.0°C and control to 0.1°C. Fully programmable controls can store 3 routines in memory with each routine capable of 10 steps. Each program can be made to repeat 1-99 times automatically. Available in 100, 115, and 230 Vac, 50/60 Hz models, bench top incubators include RS232 interface for data collection and 99-day timer readable to 1 sec.

New Chilling/Heating Incubators Feature Temperature Ramping


Carlsbad, CA . . . Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc. announces its new range of fully programmable, chilling/heating, bench top incubators with temperature ramping for use in pharmaceutical, biotech, biochemistry, clinical, general chemistry, and other laboratories.

Typical applications include protein crystal growth, culture growth above, below, or at room temperature, enzyme reactions and deactivations, incubating marine cultures, ligations, hybridizations, storing ooytes and DNA libraries, and much more.

The Models IN35 and IN45 are Peltier based units with no compressors or CFC's. They have 27.5 liter and 55 liter volumes respectively.

Temperature range is from 4.0°C to 70.0°C with control to 0.1°C (even at room temperature). The fully programmable controls are capable of storing 3 routines in memory with each routine capable of ten steps.

Each program step is a temperature, time, and a temperature ramping rate (if required). Each program can be made to repeat from 1 to 99 times automatically. Programs are stored in CMOS for instant recall and use at any time.

Units have an RS232 interface for data collection, and 99 day timer readable to 1 second and are UL, CSA and CE listed. They are available in 100, 115 and 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz models.
