Lytron Further Enhances Kodiak® Recirculating Chiller Performance
October 15, 2002, WOBURN, MA - Lytron Incorporated, the Total Thermal Solutions™ Company, has further enhanced the temperature stability of its Kodiak recirculating chillers.
The improved Kodiak offers the following features:
• The temperature stability of the new Kodiak is typically ±0.05°C, an average 33% improvement.
• The temperature stabilization time was reduced five-fold.
• The response to a setpoint change is immediate.
These improvements are the result of changes to our proprietary PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller software. Other controller changes include allowing the pressure units (PSI and BAR) to be set independent of the temperature units (°F and °C).
