NeutrikŪ Makes a Connection with HDMI at InfoComm 2009

HDMI 1.3 Feedthrough Available in Universal D-Shaped Chassis Connectors

ORLANDO, FL, JUNE 9, 2009 - To accommodate the rising trend of HDMI connections in the AV industry, Neutrik introduces its new HDMI 1.3 feedthrough in its universal D-style chassis connector at InfoComm 2009 (Booth 6561). Corresponding with its newest USB and FireWire connectors, also debuting at InfoComm, Neutrik's HDMI feedthrough is equipped with the same optional screen to chassis grounding and sealing gasket features for a lockable and watertight digital interface connection.

Neutrik's new HDMI 1.3 chassis connectors (NAHDMI-W, NAHDMI-W-B) are perfectly suited to transmit any digital TV and PC video format including high-definition video (HDTV). Designed with a 19-pole HDMI receptacle at both ends, HDMI 1.3 is available with either nickel or black housing. As a leader in the industry, Neutrik is anticipating future requirements on IP-rated HDMI cable connections and has designed its latest HDMI chassis connector to meet these specifications.

"Moving into data connectors is a natural progression for Neutrik," says Pete Milbery, managing director of Neutrik USA. "We have taken our proven technology in audio and transitioned it into a data connector that meets the stringent guidelines we have set forth for all of our products."

Neutrik manufactures a wide array of XLR connectors and receptacles, jacks and plugs, speaker connectors and accessories for the professional audio industry. Neutrik USA is located at 195 Lehigh Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
