The new CDM (Ceramic Discharge Metal Halide) lamps are designed for direct retrofitting applications and are energy-efficient without compromising light quality and performance.

Shat-R-Shield's new line of four CDM lamps offers long life (20,000 hrs.), which translates into reduced maintenance and relamping costs, plus there are naturally fewer lamps to recycle. A 330-watt CDM lamp compared to a standard 400-watt quartz model features an energy savings of 18%. Based on that number, the energy savings can be substantial over the lamp's rated life.
