Form a High Temperature, Gas Tight Seal with Cotronics' New 1800ºF Ceramic Sealer

Thermeez 7030 is ideal for high temperature (up to 1800ºF) applications that require high expansion. Easy and safe to use, the ceramic-based sealer forms gas tight seals in the most extreme applications. Thermeez 7030 is commonly used in high temperature exhaust systems, diesel engines, gas turbines and heating plants. Thermeez 7030 features high expansion while providing a higher temperature (up to 1800ºF) than epoxy-based adhesives and will not crack like most ceramic formulations that lack high expansion.

Thermeez 7030 comes as a powder in quart, gallon and five gallon containers. Just mix with water and apply white paste with a standard caulking cartridge. No objectionable odors or harmful fibers. Cures in 24-48 hours at room temperature or fast cures in 10-60 minutes with mild (250ºF) heat. Corrosion and erosion resistant coatings are formed after a quick post cure at 600ºF. New free flowing formulations are available for rapid or automatic dispensing applications.

Thermeez 7030 bonds to most metals, ceramics, door gaskets, tadpole gaskets and ceramic cloths and has excellent adhesion to steel, stainless, aluminum, lead, ceramics, etc.

Thermeez 7030 is fireproof and has excellent resistance to most acids, alkalies, solvents, corrosives and electricity. Ideal for sealing, bonding, filling or coating any high temperature application requiring 1800ºF service, pressure tight and fire proof seals, wear resistance and high expansion.
