Flojet Sets the Bar with New Magnetically Coupled Centrifugal Pumps

The Flojet magnetic drive technology improves motor life and reduces heat transfer to the media

Santa Ana, CA - ITT Flojet (www.ittflowcontrol.com), a leading manufacturer of small electric and air-operated pumps for the RV, Beverage, and Industrial markets, has just introduced its line of the highest standard magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps-where high reliability is paramount, where leak-free transfer is a must, where purity of the pumped medium must be maintained, and where temperature is critical.

Some of the most common applications for these magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps include:
  • Condensate removal
  • Laser cooling
  • Agricultural sprayers
  • Metal recovery processes
  • Degreasers
  • Optical lens manufacture
  • Ultrasonic cleaner
  • Plating machines
  • Fish farming
  • Semiconductor manufacture
  • Cleaning systems
  • Printing equipment
  • Hot and cold media recirculation
  • Water treatment plants
  • Humidifier equipment

The Flojet magnetic drive technology behind these pumps includes a motor driving a set of magnets, eliminating the need for motor shaft seals. This creates a temperature barrier between the motor and the media improving the life of the motor and reducing heat transfer to the media. The durable polypropylene (PP) and Ryton (PPS) housings and ceramic spindles allow for maximum chemical resistance.

Models are available with flow rates from 4.6 to 14.5 GPM, and with motors in AC and DC voltages.

The Flojet Magnetically Coupled Centrifugal Pumps are now available. Contact our authorized dealers for more information, or visit us at www.ittflowcontrol.com.
