Bosch Announces New Series of Premium-Sound Ceiling Loudspeakers

Superior music and speech reproduction meets the most demanding public address requirements

  • High-quality music and speech reproduction
  • EVAC compliant
  • Excellent bass response
  • Complete range for every application

Bosch Security Systems is introducing a new series of flush-mount Premium-sound Ceiling Loudspeakers delivering superior sound over the full audio frequency range. The new series is especially well suited for applications where high-quality music is required whilst still meeting the needs of today's most demanding public address systems.

The loudspeaker series offers a choice of drivers, including full-range units in sizes of 4, 8 and 12 inch, in powers of 30 watt and 60 watt. An optional 10-inch 60 watt subwoofer is also available to add extra bass. This makes it easy to create and install custom set-ups for a broad range of applications - including health and fitness centers, restaurants, hotels, bars and shops.

Equipped with a waveguide-coupled, titanium-coated dome tweeter and housed in an integrated, fully-ported enclosure, the loudspeakers are capable of accurately reproducing the full audio spectrum. The subwoofer, which is intended for use with the 4-inch and 8-inch units, extends the frequency range down to 45 hertz.

Although the speakers are capable of handling heavy signal loads, to protect against abnormally high input signals they are all equipped with overload protection.

Heat-resistant connectors and thermal fuses make the speakers EVAC-compliant, and provide an added level of security in case of emergencies. The Premium-sound line meets all necessary standards for voice alarm installations (EN60849 and BS5839-8).

The new Premium-sound Ceiling Loudspeaker range offers a solution for every ceiling - from tight, suspended ceilings to high open ceilings. Every model is shipped with a tile bridge and mounting ring, ready to install right out of the box. The speakers are also characterized by wide dispersion characteristics which means fewer speakers can be used to cover a larger area, so the installation can be both efficient and cost effective.
