Installed in catch basin and held in place by drain's grate, Ultra-Drain Guard Oil & Sediment Plus® allows filters pollutants, hydrocarbons, and oil from water stream/storm water. Filter fabric is non-woven polypropylene, needle-punched, geotextile material, and unit is also equipped with filter strips makde of X-TEX®, which is made from recycled synthetic fibers and helps maximize amount of oil and hydrocarbons that can be removed.

New Catch Basin Insert
The Ultra-Drain Guard Oil & Sediment Plus® is installed in a catch basin and is held in place by the drain's grate. Stormwater runoff enters the Ultra-Drain Guard Oil & Sediment Plus® and is directed toward the pouch by a skirt made of a non-woven polypropylene, needle-punched, geotextile material. This fabric filters the pollutants from the water stream as it passes over and flows through the material. Additionally, each Ultra-Drain Guard Oil & Sediment Plus® is equipped with numerous "Filter Strips" made of "X-TEX®", a unique filter material made of recycled synthetic fibers. X-TEX is extremely effective in capturing and removing hydrocarbons and other pollutants from stormwater. These Filter Strips maximize the total amount of oil and hydrocarbons that can be removed.
