ZIRCAR Ceramics Introduces Bubble Alumina Castable Type ZIRALCAST 95


ZIRCAR Ceramics, Inc., Florida, NY is proud to announce the introduction of ZIRCAR Alumina Castable Type ZIRALCAST 95. ZIRALCAST 95 is a high purity, extra-high alumina refractory castable composed primarily of pure fused alumina bubbles.

ZIRALCAST 95 exhibits a composition of 95.6% AL203, 3.8% CaO and 0.6% other oxides. It is a blend of AI203 bubbles and refractory cement with a uniform particle size less than 4 mesh (5mm). After an initial set time of 1-4 hours and final set time of 7-10 hours, ZIRALCAST 95 reaches a bulk density of 1500 kg/mE+03 (93.6 pcf). ZIRALCAST 95's maximum use temperature is 1800°C.
