Ondrives Cast Iron Wheels

Ondrives Ltd have enhanced their latest range of cast iron precision spur gears by adding a range of cast iron wormwheels to the choice offered.

These wormwheels are currently available in 2.5 and 3.0 Module and are designed to be run together with either 817M40T or 303 stainless steel worms or worm shafts as standard. They are manufactured in-house at Ondrives' newly built and extended CNC manufacturing facility so customers are assured of the best quality together with a just-in-time promise that delivers on price as well as the finish they have come to expect of the products in this range.

1, 2, 3 or 4 starts are available as standard and teeth start at 15 going up to 48 as standard. Different bore sizes, keyways, tapped and pin holes are all available to order where required with complete specials being welcomed by the Ondrives' technical and CNC teams. These are quoted for on a no-obligation basis and turnarounds are quick due to having the latest in 2D and 3D CAD drawing systems as well as the in-house manufacturing facility to back this up.

Cast iron GG25 is a material chosen by Ondrives for specific engineering properties such as low melting point, good fluidity, castability, excellent machinability, resistance to deformation and wear resistance making it an excellent choice for engineers where these properties are deemed necessary. Price is also a reason for choosing cast iron as it is not expensive compared to other, more unusual materials. Visit http://www.ondrives.com/precision-gears.html for more details.
