Thiele Introduces New CE 446 Case Erector

Thiele Technologies is proud to introduce the CE 446, the newest design in their line of durable case erectors. The CE 446 automatically selects, erects, squares, and seals the bottom flaps of regular-slotted (RSC) and half-slotted (HSC) corrugated cases at speeds up to 20 cases per minute.

According to Stephen Kaye, Rigid Product Line Manager, "we've combined over 50 years of experience and expertise in case erecting design by using principles from our traditional line of Thiele equipment with design techniques employed by SWF Companies. Building with ideas from both groups, we've created not only a more efficient machine, but also a more efficient company."

Changeover can be accomplished in under 3 minutes, maximing production time and increasing throughput. The CE 446 features Allen-Bradley MicroLogix PLC control with diagnostic capabilities, reducing downtime and making the machine simple to operate. Opposing vacuum cups in the erecting station allow the CE 446 to separate the case as it is erected, effectively breaking the case score lines. Soft metric design and reduced power consumption make this machine ideal for use worldwide.
