New Even Cut Cartridge Rolls Offer Versatility and Longevity

CLEVELAND - February 2005 - Even Cut Abrasive Company, a leading supplier of abrasive specialty products to the industrial market for over 75 years, offers a complete line of cartridge rolls.

Cartridge rolls are manufactured by wrapping abrasive cloth materials around an appropriately sized mandrel. Available with aluminum oxide grain, silicon carbide grain or zirconia/alumina grain, cartridge rolls are best suited for polishing, blending, deburring and flash removal operations.

Designed to be long-lasting, fresh abrasive grain is exposed as the outer layer of the cartridge rolls wears away. Cartridge rolls are used on hand-held power tools and are mounted on mandrels designed to securely hold during operations.

Cartridge rolls come in a variety of styles - straight, full taper, half taper and sidewall - and are application and operator specific.

Cartridge rolls are available in 1/8" to 1-1/2" diameter, 3/4" to 2" length with grits ranging from 36 to 320.

Even Cut also offers cartridge roll kits that include a combination of straight and full taper rolls in sizes available in 80 to 120 grit, as well as the appropriate mandrels.

In business for more than 75 years, Even Cut Abrasive Company manufactures a complete line of specialty abrasives for the metalworking, woodworking and aerospace markets.
