Another New Cartoner from Bradman Lake

Hard on the heels of Bradman Lake's new robot toploader for frozen foods in bags up to 1kg comes this carton endloader to fill another gap for the food industry.

The SL903 is designed for food packers who want the labour-saving advantages of a fast, fully automatic end-load machine at an attractive price. Its running speed up to 130 cartons per minute is almost 50 per cent higher than the popular SL902 and, by using some common components, excellent value for money is achieved.

To cope with higher speeds, there is a three head vacuum carton feeder and longer carton magazine with motorised hopper. The SL903 can handle a large size range and, in a sector where different pack sizes are frequently required, size changing has been made simple. Handwheels adjust carton flight chains and the pockets of the infeed conveyor. The product inserter is also fitted with quick release pushers.

Also with the special needs of the food industry in mind, the SL903 is strongly constructed in stainless steel with machine guards carefully designed for easy access and maximum visibility. Simply lifting the guard over the product inserter frees the pusher arms which can be lifted and slid back. Any jams caused by oversize product can be easily cleared and production quickly resumed.

The operator controls all the machine functions by touch screen.
