Featuring tubular stainless steel frame and 38 x 104 in. inline configuration, Capstone Flange Seal Carton Closing System employs precision belt drive technology to position, close, and seal cover flange seal cartons. Positioning system within machine includes counters and accommodates full range of carton sizes. Equipped with Allen-Bradley Compact Logix controls and Panel View Plus 1000 HMI touchscreen, machine uses mechanical tuck or hot glue sealing to close cartons.

New Delkor Capstone Flange Seal Carton Closing Machine
Circle Pines, MN . . . Delkor Systems, Inc., a leader in innovative packaging systems, has introduced a new Capstone Flange Seal Carton Closing System as a line extension of its successful Capstone tri seal carton closing system. The fully-automatic system employs Delkor's precision belt drive technology to accurately position, close and seal cover flange seal cartons at line speeds of up to 150 cartons per minute. The precision positioning mechanism within the new system accommodates a full range of carton sizes and includes counters to ensure reliable, repeatable high-speed production of high-quality consumer packages at profitable production line speeds.
The new system employs a compact (38 in. wide by 104 in. long) inline configuration that enables it to align efficiently with a conveyor bringing cartons from upstream filling operations. It offers optional right or left lid positioning
when entering the system. The frame is constructed of welded tubular stainless steel for maximum durability and harsh environment endurance.
The Capstone Flange Seal system's Allen-Bradley Compact Logix controls and operator-friendly Panel View Plus 1000 HMI touch screen enable quick and reliable changeovers between carton sizes. It is designed to maximize operator safety with low-voltage control circuitry and redundant interlocked panels. NEMA-12 electrical enclosure is standard
The Delkor Cover Flange Seal closing system closes cartons using either mechanical tuck or hot glue sealing. A Nordson Corporation Pro Blue 10 hot glue dispenser for use with the system is available as an additional option. Mounted on wheels, the dispenser quickly connects to the system and can be wheeled a out of the way when not in use.
