Rugged design is manufactured using insert molding process ensuring proper pin alignment and accurate contact registration. Low profile allows for dense packaging options. Each serial lane is comprised of differential transmit and receive signals with data rates running at 5.0 Gbps.

Meritec Welcomes New Rugged Straddle Mount PCI Express Connectors to Their Card Edge Connector Line
Painesville, Ohio USA, October 4, 2007 - Meritec announces the newest addition to its Card Edge Connector product line - rugged Straddle Mount PCI Express Connectors. These new PCI Express connectors will be available in X1, X4, X8 and X16 configurations and all meeting the new PCI Express 2.0 specifications. The X16 version will be available for sampling in November 2007 with full production quantities available shortly thereafter. These new Straddle Mount PCI Express connectors offer additional solutions for co-planar
