CS744 Series: Carbon/Sulfur Analysis by Combustion

St. Joseph, Mich.—LECO has introduced the CS744 Series, a carbon/sulfur analyzer developed for accurate wide-range measurement of carbon and sulfur content of metals, ores, ceramics, and other inorganic materials.

The CS744 Series features a variable power combustion furnace and rugged design ideal for meeting the demands of the industrial environment. An improved IR cell design with thermostatic construction provides increased protection from ambient temperature fluctuations, and offers simultaneous detection for both carbon and sulfur. A high-velocity vacuum system keeps dust and debris contained, and optional 10- and 60-sample autoloaders are available for maximum productivity.

The CS744 Series utilizes LECO’s exclusive Cornerstone software, which provides the user with complete access to analysis control, method settings, diagnostics, reporting, and more in a highly-organized and immersive environment. Designed through a collaboration of customer feedback and innovative engineering, Cornerstone allows the user to conduct all of their day-to-day operations within a single Analysis screen designed for speed and ease-of-use. An innovative grouping of sample data simplifies data output and automatically calculates relevant statistics, alleviating the need for additional data processing.

A number of models and configurations of this series are available, including an optional boom-mounted touch-screen monitor for improved ergonomics. For more information about the CS744 Series, visit www.leco.com .
