Capping Head Clutches Smooth, Repeatable and Maintenance-Free
A new line of magnetic capping head clutches that are compatible with all popular machinery for applying screw-on caps to plastic and glass containers is being introduced by Magnetic Technologies Ltd. of Oxford, Massachusetts.
Magnetic Technologies’ Capping Head Clutches feature a hystersis design that provides smooth, vibration-free performance and has a Vernier scale for user-adjustable torque settings from 2 to 24 in-lbs. with ±2% accuracy. Compatible with all popular machinery used for screwing 15 to 43 mm caps onto plastic and glass containers, they have no contacting parts or pads
to wear out and are repeatable to within ±2%, depending upon installation.
Easily adapted to special customer requirements, Magnetic Technologies’ Capping Head Clutches have a 3” dia. common magnetic component made from anodized aluminum or stainless steel, various size input and output shafts, and many chuck output adapters. Virtually maintenance-free, they are well suited for Alcoa, Consolidated, and Pneumatic Scale capping machinery.
