Capacitors are designed for high voltage applications.
November 8, 2001 - MVDR Inductive Capacitors feature capacitance range of 500PF and 1000PF, with voltage range from 10 to 15 kV, and capacitance tolerance at ±10%(K). Self-healing and equipped with tinned copper-clad steel axial leads, MVDR types may be combined in parallel and/or series to achieve various capacitances and voltages. Construction features include internal multi-series connection windings with polyester metallized film and epoxy resin impregnation.

Inexpensive High Voltage Capacitors
Westwood, NJ, November 2001... The MVDR, a lower cost, very high voltage inductive capacitor, especially designed for use with CRT displays and video monitors, high voltage power supplies and multiplier circuits is now available from Seacor, Inc. a major
supplier of standard and custom capacitor products.
With prices ranging as low as $0.35 each for bulk quantities, these small footprint devices feature a capacitance range of 500PF and 1000PF with in-between ratings available on special order. Voltage range is from 10 to 15KV with capacitance tolerance at ±10%(K). Dissipation factor is <1.0% at 1 KHz and 20°C. Insulation resistance between terminals is > 100 X 10(3) Mohms.
Self-healing and equipped with tinned copper clad steel axial leads, the MVDR types may be combined in parallel and/or series assemblies to achieve various capacitances-voltages.
Construction features include internal multi-series connecton windings with polyester metallized film and epoxy resin impregnation.
Directly competitive with high voltage ceramic capacitors, these new units are available from stock to 6 weeks, depending upon quantities ordered. Application engineering services are offered by the company.
