Calibration Service Helps Meet ISO 9000 Standards

HBM has introduced a calibration service for its MGCplus system allowing ISO 9000 certified companies to obtain an easily understood calibration certificate for quality monitoring. The calibration service provides working standard calibration certificates, traced to national standards, for all amplifier modules in any MGCplus system.

An evaluation of each individual channel is shown in the calibration certificate that shows if an amplifier’s properties comply with the manufacturer’s specifications.

End users can easily assess an amplifier’s quality that is very valuable for systems with multi-channel amplifiers. A graphical display of the absolute deviations within permissible limits are provided by the calibration service.

Digital inputs and communications modules can also be checked as part of the service with the manufacturer’s device-specific tests.

The calibration of the MGCplus can be undertaken either at HBM’s Americas headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts, or at the customer’s premises, with savings in time and cost. HBM normally supplies a printout of the standard calibration certificate but it is also optionally available in an electronic format.
