MISSISSAUGA, Canada, Aug. 1 // -- Alcan Cable introduced today a new CSA-approved, multi-conductor armoured cable assembly to mitigate the effects generated by harmonic currents in electrical systems. The N2(TM) NUAL®, a type ACWU-90 cable with two full size neutral conductors, is a cost-effective solution for use in commercial and institutional buildings such as banks, data centres, hospitals and computer laboratories.

N2 NUAL is a flexible, interlocked aluminum armoured, PVC-jacketed cable. It has five 90°C wet-rated cross-linked polyethylene insulated NUAL conductors and one bare NUAL bonding conductor. The cable is factory-assembled, eliminating the need for conduit, conduit fittings and the labour-intensive operations of pulling in conductors, threading and forming conduits.
