Schleuniger Introduces the new CoaxStrip 5300

Schleuniger is pleased to introduce the CoaxStrip 5300 programmable cable stripping machine. The CoaxStrip 5300 can strip coaxial, triaxial and multi-conductor cables as well as single conductor wires up to 7 mm (.275”) O.D.. The CoaxStrip 5300 will be positioned as a replacement for the model MP257, a proven workhorse that served the market well for many years. The new CoaxStrip 5300 takes the best features of the MP 257 and adds a number of improvements and enhancements. The most notable improvement is the user interface, which uses state of the art electronics and software, making it easier than ever to program and use this type of machine.

The CoaxStrip 5300 offers the following advantages compared to the popular MP 257:

• 10% higher production rate

• Maximum stripping length increased from 25 mm (1.0”) to 30 mm (1.18”)

• Increased cable clamping force

• Cable clamping force is programmable instead of fixed

• Increased stripping force

• Menu guided programming

• Graphical User Interface

• Larger memory storage capacity (1000 programs vs. 99)

An optional PC software package for offline programming and data transfer is in development and will be introduced at a later date.

The CoaxStrip 5300 joins the previously introduced CoaxStrip 5400 as the most advanced rotary stripping machines available on the market today. For more information about the CoaxStrip 5300 and other Schleuniger Wire Processing Equipment, please visit us at our homepage at www.schleuniger-na.com.
