Manufactured from flexible PVC, D-Track wrap around jacketing features external closure system for optimal cable fill rates and protection against outside contaminants. Single-piece construction has no sharp edges to damage wires during cable assembly process, and wrap around or side entry allows for modular cable design. Expansion feature allows for cable growth as design changes occur. Product comes in sizes for 3/8 in. dia and up cable bundles.

D-Track Jacketing Now Available from Zippertubing
Los Angeles, Ca - Zippertubing is proud to announce the addition of D-Track to its product line. Developed in Europe for the truck and bus industry, this flexible PVC product is a complete cable management system. D-Track is a unique wrap around jacketing system and has several advantages over Split convoluted tubing. Because it is manufactured from a flexible PVC compound there are no sharp edges to damage wires during the cable assembly process. The patented external closure system allows for much higher cable fill rates.
The wrap around or side entry allows for modular cable design, reducing the total installed cost (TIC) and the D-Track closure method insures that the cables are not exposed to outside contaminates, reducing total operating costs (TOC). This product is currently being used on trucks and buses manufactured by Daimler/Chrysler, DAF, Freightliner, Kenworth and PACCAR.
D-Track is ideal for use in automotive applications where cable bundles must be protected from the rugged environment of road use. The patented expansion feature allows for cable growth as design changes occur. Due to its one piece construction this closed system product is practical and economical. The track closure system is also available on other jacketing materials. A low temperature version is also offered. This product ranges in sizes from 3/8" diameter and up cable bundles.
