BigFoot(TM) Ratcheting Cable Cutter enables electricians to cut copper or aluminum hard-drawn cables up to 750-KCMIL. Leverage is created by grounding one handle of cutter while other side is ratcheted downward. To minimize distortion, cutter is equipped with rounded blade with ratchet action that holds cable tight. Other features include hardened steel blades, quick release action with simplified blade back-out, locking mechanism, and ergonomic slip-resistant handles.

SYCAMORE, IL, July 30, 2007 - IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. today introduced its new BigFoot(TM) Ratcheting Cable Cutter, the industry's first to feature an over molded high-leverage boot that provides improved power and stability to electricians while they cut copper or aluminum hard-drawn cables up to 750-KCMIL.
