Hylec-APL's Tough New TEETUBE Connector Provides Protection, Versatility and Visibility
UK volume electrical and electronic component supplier Hylec-APL has introduced a smart new cable connecting solution. The TEETUBE connector provides IP68 ingress protection and offers 2 and 3 way cable entries. With it's high IP rating and up to 6 pole connections the TEETUBE is suitable for use a wide range of applications where moisture is present. The inclusion of an innovative transparent option also allows users to check connections without disassembly.
The fully approved all-weather TEETUBE is being promoted exclusively by Hylec-APL based in Wellingborough, they are available from national UK stockists and direct to distributors and contractors from Hylec-APL. The versatile range includes a number of sizes, including the MINI-TEETUBE, and both 2 and 3 way cable entry versions. High integrity TPE-V seals provide protection and ensure reliability, accommodating different types of commercially available cable up to 17mm max (depending on product).
The TEETUBES can also be supplied with a transparent polycarbonate barrel, which is equally as tough as the non-transparent models. These offer the luxury of making the wire connections visible without having to disassemble the unit, an extra bonus when working in wet conditions.
