Wireworks Introduces New BG Cable Assemblies at Nab 2009

~Featuring Wireworks Cabling with Neutrik's convertCON Connector ~

LAS VEGAS, NV, MARCH 10, 2009 - Wireworks, the leading innovator of audio/video cabling systems and custom panels, introduces BG Cable Assemblies featuring Wireworks super flexible MusiLUX microphone cable or AES/EBU digital cable teamed with Neutrik's convertCON connector, at NAB 2009 (Booth C4147).

Wireworks new BG Cable Assemblies can be used in both microphone and line level applications and are ideal for sound engineers, system designers and on-the-go sound techs that require the ability to connect a variety of gear without the hassle of worrying about XLR connector gender issues. Neutrik's convertCON is a new 3-pin male and female cable connector in a single housing - by simply sliding the housing back and forth, convertCON is transformed from a male to female connector.

Wireworks BG Cable Assemblies are available in four configurations: XLR Male to convertCON, XLR Female to convertCON, convertCON to convertCON and quarter-inch TRS to convertCON. The new cable assemblies are offered in a variety of standard lengths with custom lengths available upon request.

"At Wireworks we continually update our product offerings with the very latest in connectivity solutions," states Gerald Krulewicz, president of Wireworks. "By offering Neutrik's state-of-the-art convertCON connector with our best-selling cabling products we are able to offer the ultimate in convenience to our consumers."

Wireworks MusiLUX is the ultimate in sonic excellence and microphone cable flexibility. The ultra flexible PVC satin finish outer jacket is available in black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey and white, to match studio décor or for signal identification. BG Assemblies are also available with Wireworks 110 ohm AES/EBU compliant transmission cable for use in digital applications.
