Based on Pentium M processor, EUROCOM 300 PCI slot CPU Board can be used as pure computer core without I/O connections typical of PCs. Two Ethernet interfaces permit separation of machine network and control system, or support real-time Ethernet connections. Second version of board offers PC-typical interfaces on front panel. With timer and non-volatile, fast memory area of 512 KB, EUROCOM 300 is particularly suitable for closed-loop and open-loop control tasks.

American ELTEC Introduces High-Performance Pentium M Slot CPU for Industrial Applications
Las Vegas, NV, February 20, 2006 - American ELTEC has introduced the EUROCOM 300, a PCI slot CPU for industrial applications based on the Pentium M processor. The board features high computing performance, but with low power consumption and low heat dissipation. Depending on ambient conditions, even passive cooling is sufficient.
As a result of this flexible design, cost-optimized solutions can be implemented for many different applications: In a basic version, the CPU can be used as a pure computer core without the I/O connections typical of PCs. Two Ethernet interfaces (optionally also available with a Gigabit-Ethernet controller) permit separation of the machine network and the control system, or support real-time Ethernet connections. A second version of the board offers the PC-typical interfaces on the front panel. For special applications, access is possible to two serial interfaces.
The EUROCOM 300 is particularly suitable for closed-loop and open-loop control tasks as a result of an additional timer (configurable specific to the application over PLD) and a non-volatile, fast memory area of 512 KB (SRAM in operation, EEPROM in de-energized state, automatic programming on power-down). Windows (XP, embedded XP) as well as Linux and Elinos are available as operating systems.
