The Vega MLM - CNC Retrofit/Rebuild Package for DeVliegs
ISS has developed two new Vega CNCs which are designed to interface with both point to point, 2 axes DeVliegs and full contouring 3/4 axes DeVliegs. Both CNC's are powerful, High Speed, PC Based CNC and are designed to integrate both the manual features of the machine while adding automatic features. Full 3D CNC programming is available for 3/4 axes machines. Both of these new CNCs are just what shops need to rejuvenate their older machines and remain competitive in today's market.
Partial and complete rebuild services to original specifications are also available. Older mechanical components of the machine are replaced with today's technologies which dramatically reduces down time trying to diagnose and repair obsolete parts.
The Vega CNC is easy to use and learn, which lowers the learning curve, making operators productive right away. The CNC has a host of features, including handwheel, and pushbutton jog interfaces, manual tapping, programmable cycles, mirroring, scaling, and tool length and cutter diameter compensation as well as many other features that help reduce setup time, improve quality and reduce scrap.
These CNCs incorporate dynamic acceleration/deceleration interpolator processor which creates a true constant rate acceleration/deceleration as opposed to "S" curve or other Acc/Dec processors. This allows parts to be cut at a higher feedrate while cutting a smooth surface which dramatically increases production.
