July 19, 2005 - Featuring full support for AutoCAD LT 2006, VPHybridCAD v8.02 offers direct scanning interface for Colortrac's SmartLF large-format scanners and supports import mirroring and rotation information with TIF images. Interface design is in Windows XP style and supports AutoCAD versions 2000–2006. Able to create and edit multipage-TIFF documents, software delivers multiple function groups and color processing functions for CAD and raster drawing applications.

VPHybridCAD 8.02 Released

softelec has released an enhanced version 8.02 for all VPHybridCAD products. The new release now contains full support for AutoCAD LT 2006, plus a new direct scanning interface for Colortrac's "SmartLF" large format scanners. Among other minor modifications VPHybridCAD V8.02 products have also been inproved on accurately importing mirroring and rotation information with TIF images.

VPHybridCAD Version 8 comes with a brand new interface design in Windows XP style and supports AutoCAD versions 2000 through 2006. It includes a collection of brand new function groups, such as dimensions, customizeable user workflows, element quick selection, raster table recognition, and many more. With this expanded technology, VPHybridCAD V8 will deliver new professional standards for hybrid processing and vectorization. Moreover, color processing functions previously available only in softelec's VPmap Series products for GIS have now become available also in VPHybridCAD V8 for CAD and standard raster drawing applications. Comfortably creating and editing Multipage-TIFF documents is another advanced functionality now available in the VPHybridCAD V8 products, such as VPraster and VPstudio.
