Atlanta , GA - May 19, 2009 - Sage North America today announced the general availability of its Peachtree 2010 product line, including new versions of Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting for Manufacturing, Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting for Distribution, and Peachtree by Sage - Quantum. These products, designed for small manufacturers and wholesale distributors, go beyond accounting, providing an array of management tools that assist these companies in attaining their business goals.
New features available in Peachtree 2010 include:
Business Analytics, powered by iLumen1: Understanding business performance relative to peers-where it stands and where opportunities exist-is more critical than ever. In the 2010 line, Peachtree features Business Analytics, powered by iLumen, that enable companies to benchmark their own performance compared with others in their industry, in their geographic area, and other manufacturers or distributors overall.
Inventory Management: New features in inventory management help small businesses save time by being able to search on inventory information in the description for sales, purchases, or item notes fields. Small businesses also now can see easily what customers are buying with the new Item Sales History by Customer report.
Customer Management Center: Particularly in the current economy, customers are small businesses' most precious asset. The new Customer Management Center helps small businesses view customer details in one place, with customizable dashboard views, enhanced lookups and easy export to Microsoft® Excel® or PDF to manage more effectively and provide excellent customer service.
Employee Management: Helps save time and reduces errors by storing all employee information in one centralized location, including emergency contact info, review dates, hire date, employment verifications, and more. Companies can also set alerts to stay on top of upcoming tasks, such as employee reviews.
Other new features include the ability to have multiple companies open at once2, manage multiple contacts per customer3, automatic backup, tracking transaction history, password security, and an in-product advisor, that helps small businesses learn the best way to work within Peachtree to get their jobs done.

5The Peachtree Business Care Plan (which includes product upgrades, updates, and customer support) will be renewed automatically each year on the anniversary date of your purchase unless you terminate your agreement prior to that date. Renewal is not required to continued access to product updates for supported versions.
