Burner Controller can be configured by keypad or PC.June 6, 2002 -
PMA Model KS 40-1 controls multiple industrial burners with modulating or sequential control functions. Control can be switched from on/off of sequential burners to motorized control of modulating burners, allowing use of different fuels. It can operate burners in parallel, as positioner that follows output signal from another controller, or it can accept second temperature or pressure input as process variable for boiler drum level control applications.

PMA Model KS 40-1 Modulating and Sequential Burning Controller
Precise and cost-effective control of multiple burners requiring modulation or sequential operation using a 1/8 DIN style Temperature Controller.
Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc., Northvale, NJ - North American Distributor for PMA Process and Automation Products, introduces the KS 40-1 Burner Controller. This multi-function unit features precise and cost-effective control of multiple industrial burners requiring modulating or sequential control functions. Furthermore, control can be switched from simple on/off control of sequential burners to motorized control of modulating burners, thus allowing the optimum use of different fuels.
The KS 40-1 can operate the burners in parallel or as a positioner that follows the output signal from another controller into it's remote set point input. In addition the KS 40-1 Controller can accept either a second temperature or pressure input as the process variable for boiler drum level control applications.
The KS 40-1 Controller can be ready configured via the front keypad or a PC or laptop with PMA's "BlueControl" Engineering Tool Software. Process values can be read out very easily via the unit's front BluePort interface for trend analysis, parameters, control and I/O functions accessible for display and storage in plain text.
