Installers can adjust image processor settings via on-screen display menu. Display is operated using included joystick controller that plugs into camera via RCA connection. Operating from 12 Vdc power supply, indoor CCTV camera has 3.6 mm fixed lens with 90° angle of view and image sensor that supports 650 TV lines of resolution.

CCTV Camera Pros launches the new BPRO-OL952 Bullet Camera with Ultra Low Light Capability and High Resolution
Palm Beach County, FL. - CCTV Camera Pros (www.cctvcamerapros.com), a direct supplier of video surveillance systems, today announced the availability of the new BPRO-OL952 bullet surveillance camera. The OL952 is an indoor CCTV camera that is capable of ultra-low light surveillance without the use of infrared technology. The camera is capable of capturing video down to light levels of 0.00002 LUX because of the sens-up technology built into the camera's Sony image sensor. Installers can adjust the camera's sens-up, wide dynamic range, digital noise reductions, and other image processor settings easily via the on screen display (OSD) menu. The camera's OSD is controlled using the included joystick controller that plugs into the camera via an RCA connection. The 3.6mm fixed lens provides a wide angle of view of approximately 90 degrees and the image sensor supports 650 TV lines of resolution. The BPRO-OL952 includes a 12VDC power supply and a mounting bracket that can be used for ceiling or wall mount applications.

In my testing, I noted most users will be able to leave all of the OSD setting on the factory defaults and the camera will work. In very low light surveillance applications, I recommend adjusting the sens-up setting to x1024 and the digital noise reduction (DNR) to high.
