Soft Touch Bullet Knobs are manufactured using 2-shot molding process that merges pointer as integral part of knob body. Thermoplastic elastomer material provides rubberized, soft-touch feel, while polypropylene material provides hard-finish feel. Available in range of color combinations, rotary knobs feature 11.6 mm OD and are suited for compact control panels in audio and broadcast equipment, lighting, communications, and test equipment.

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Oct. 28, 2003 - Selco Products has introduced the Soft Touch Bullet Knob Series. The new rotary knobs feature a built-in pointer for easy, quick reference in two and three-color designs. Sleek rounded styling make them ideally suited for compact control panels found in audio and broadcast equipment, lighting, communications, industrial and test equipment, or any panel application requiring color-coded knob control.
Manufactured using a two-shot molding process that merges the pointer as an integral part of the knob body, this method provides color-coding flexibility and cost-effective pricing by eliminating the need for additional assembly time and related costs. The resulting knob offers the designer a versatile range of color combinations to achieve a variety of control panel aesthetics and functions.
The Soft Touch Bullet Knob include a choice of either thermoplastic elastomer material that provides a rubberized, soft-touch feel, or a polypropylene material for a hard-finish feel. Both easy-grip styles are available with a standard black knob body, with other colors by special order, and a virtually unlimited range of pointer colors. Available in an outside diameter of 11.6mm, knob configurations include 6mm for spline shafts and 6mm x 4.5mm for industry standard "D" shafts.
Special markings such as letters, numbers, symbols or logos may be printed on the knob for added reference value. The new knobs are priced from $0.43 each in production quantities of 1,000 and shipped in bulk. Delivery is 4 to 5 weeks.
