Brushless DC Motors produce up to 190 oz-in. of peak torque.
December 18, 2009 -
Available in 2, 2.80, 3.60, and 4.53 in. stack lengths, NEMA 23 BLDC motors suit applications requiring high speed and high dynamic torque. They offer optimal performance speed range of 300-4,000 rpm and provide quiet operation, regardless of speed range. Motors also suit applications requiring velocity control with analog input.

Introducing Brushless DC's (BLDC)
Santa Clara, CA- Lin Engineering is pleased to announce the release of their new line of NEMA 23 Brushless DC (BLDC) motors. These motors are best for applications where high speed and high dynamic torque are a must for the user's application.
Lin's NEMA 23 BLDC's provide extremely quiet and smooth operation regardless of speed range, although the optimal performance speed range is 300RPM to 4000RPM. These are also great for those who prefer velocity control with an analog input, do not need holding torque and may be having reliability issues with an existing Brush DC motor. BLDC's are also a good choice for applications that do not have a lot of power and require a higher efficiency motor.
Lin Engineering's NEMA 23 BLDC's are available in four stack lengths: 2.00", 2.80", 3.60", and 4.53". Depending upon the stack length, these motors are able to produce up to 190 oz-in of peak torque.
