Pittman® Slotted Brushless DC Motors Ideal For High-Performance Applications

PITTMAN® brand slotted brushless DC motors incorporate internal Hall sensor feedback for linear speed-torque characteristics, high starting torque, and variable speed control (with appropriate control electronics). Their 6-slot lamination design contributes to high power, fast acceleration, consistent operation, and long service life.

These motors are ideal for applications in a wide range of industries, including data storage, medical/biotech, semiconductor processing, automation, and others requiring high performance and reliability.

PITTMAN brand slotted brushless DC motors (2.3" diameter) are available in four standard stack lengths (1/2", 1", 1-1/2" and 2") and feature high-energy neodymium iron boron magnets for optimized performance. Speeds up to 8000 rpm and continuous torque up to 49 oz-in (75 oz-in with Heat sink) can be achieved.

The motor's mounting configuration is consistent with NEMA 23 standards. Modular motor design facilitates motor customization with On-Motor(TM) controllers and components including modified shafts, multiple windings, electromechanical brakes, and optical encoders to satisfy unique application demands.
