Minute Man Keyway Broach Set Cuts Metric Keyways In Large Bores


Greenfield, MA - A heavy duty set of keyway broaches, bushings and shims designed for cutting 16mm or 18mm keyways in eight bore sizes from 52 to 65 mm is now offered by The duMont Corporation, Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Available off-the-shelf from local industrial distributor
stock, the No. 90 Set can be used to cut metric size keyways in pulleys, gears, collars, and similar pieces encountered in
experimental, maintenance, machine assembly, or limited production work. The broaches are push-type and can be used with any hand-operated arbor press or hydraulic press having adequate
throat opening.

Other metric sets for cutting keyways in the range of 2 to 18mm in bores from 6 to 65mm are also available. All sets are furnished complete with high speed steel broaches, bushings and shims, and are packaged in hardwood varnished boxes. Individual broaches and bushings for standard I.S.O. millimeter keyways and metric broaches for cutting square holes are also available from distributor stock. The metric keyway and hole broaches sets are an addition to the line of individual Minute Man broaches in fractional inch sizes now in wide use.
