The Noco Company Announces New BCX Booster Cables
Cleveland, OH: NOCO®, a global leader in battery products and accessories, today announced the projected market introduction date for its new BCX Booster Cables. The new "BCX Booster Cables" was developed for the professional mechanical who demands higher performance products. The BCX Booster Cables manufactured by NOCO are a hi-output Booster Cable that delivers more power than traditional Booster Cables, which features: (1) an injection molded Power Clamp rated at 650 Amps, (2) a braided ground strap for increased power distribution to both sides of the clamp ("Hot" both sides), (3) hi-output jaws made from 100% copper, (4) hi-flex, EPDM, Welding Cable for maximum flexibility in cold weather environments, and (5) a unique cable splitter to prevent cable striping.
In addition to these new features, NOCO has also developed a new terminology to help end-users determine which Booster Cable is "right for you." Each BCX Booster Cable comes with a "Maximum Cracking Amps" (MCA) rating, which designates how much power each Booster Cable can delivery. The purpose of the MCA Rating is help consumers realize that not all Booster Cables perform the same, because each Booster Cable is adversely affected by the wire size (i.e. Gauge, AWG) and length.
"The design concept behind the BCX Booster Cables was to create and build a high-performance Booster Cable for professional mechanics", said William Nook, NOCO's Chief Executive Officer.
