June 6, 2005 - Designed for mobile and crawler excavation, RAV Series works in confined spaces and is capable of generating centrifugal force from 11,700–24,750 lb depending on model. Attachments weigh from 882–2,205 lb and feature steel-wrapped hydraulic hoses and 360° rotation. Supplied with universal adapter plate and hydraulic connection terminal, series also incorporates movement limiting systems that protect structure and diagonally mounted rubber mounts.

New Multiquip Attachments Compact with Ease
Rammax’s new RAV Series boom-mounted compactors from Multiquip are designed for efficient and trouble-free mobile and crawler excavation.
The compactors, capable of generating centrifugal force up to 24,750 pounds (110 kN), excel in applications including slope and hillside compaction, structure backfill, pipeline construction, and work in confined spaces such as shaft compaction.
The RAV-700P generates 18,450 pounds (802 kN) of centrifugal force and it is well suited for applications on 7-20 ton excavators. It weighs 1,543 pounds (700 kg.). The RAV-1000P is ideal for the larger jobs with 24,750 pounds (110 kN) of impact force. The attachment weighs 2,205 pounds (1,000 kg.) and it is most effective on 18-40 ton excavators.
The RAV-400P, available in late 2005, is for use on popular 2-15 ton mini excavators. This model produces 11,700 pounds (52 kN) of impact force and weighs 882 pounds (400 kg.).
Multiquip’s boom-mounted compactors can be equipped with a hydraulic quick-change device that allows the operator to change buckets, breakers, hammers and any other tool in seconds — without ever having to leave the cab. These maintenance-free compactors feature steel-wrapped hydraulic hoses for extra protection, patented 360 degree rotation, diagonally mounted rubber mounts for extended life, and patented movement limiting systems to protect the structure and rubber mounts.
The attachments come with a universal adapter plate and hydraulic connection terminal for easy mounting to Oil-Quick, Lifufix and Lehnhoff quick changer over adapter systems.
