Designed for assembly with stackable IT3 and IT5 Series high-speed mezzanine connectors, IT-P Series features 3-piece structure consisting of mating receptacle, interposer, and mounting receptacle. Wide range of variable height interposers are available to achieve board-to-board stack heights from 13.5–44 mm. Operating from -55 to +85°C, RoHS-compliant connectors provide contact resistance of 2 mΩ maximum and insulation resistance of 1000 mΩ minimum at 500 Vdc.

SIMI VALLEY, CA — Hirose, a leader in the development of innovative connector solutions, has strengthened its board-to-board power connector product offering with the development of the flexible and customizable IT-P Series. Featuring a 3-piece structure consisting of the mating receptacle, the interposer, and the mounting receptacle, the IT-P Series provides a wide range of variable height interposers to achieve board-to-board stack heights ranging from 13.5mm to 44mm. The low-profile receptacles are designed to ensure an easy reflow assembly process to the PCB.
Designed for assembly with the stackable IT3 and IT5 Series high-speed mezzanine connectors, the IT-P Series board-to-board power connector offers a current rating of 60A. Providing secure and reliable connectivity, the IT-P Series connector design features multiple contact points between the receptacle crown contacts and interposer pins. The receptacles are equipped with a latching mechanism to hold the interposers securely in place, and are keyed to prevent incorrect assembly.

The IT-P Series board-to-board power connector is RoHS compliant. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, the IT-P Series provides a contact resistance of 2 m Ohm maximum, and an insulation resistance of 1000 M Ohm minimum at 500 VDC.
