Designed to isolate suspicious packages, luggage, and parcels at various locations, Blastec Mini Isolator Bin provides temporary blast mitigation and fragment retention. It is made from internally reinforced waterproof fabric and open at top and bottom to facilitate deployment as well as access suspect object. Deployed manually or robotically using appropriate bomb disposal equipment, product can be custom-designed in regards to size and material to suit application requirements.

Cintec America Introduces the Blastec Mini Isolator Bin, a Self-Inflating Blast Mitigation Tool

WASHINGTON, DC - CINTEC America, designer and manufacturer of the CINTEC Reinforcing Anchor System, introduces the Blastec Mini Isolator Bin, a blast mitigation tool ideal for use at airports, restaurants, stores, banks, post offices, and office buildings. This self-inflating product, designed to isolate suspicious packages, luggage, and parcels, can be easily and rapidly deployed to provide temporary blast mitigation and fragment retention.
Now in the beta testing phase, the Mini Isolator Bin can be custom designed for a wide spectrum of blast mitigation applications. Larger versions are currently undergoing trials for baggage screening with a major international airline. It is made from an internally reinforced waterproof fabric, and is designed to be deployed manually or robotically using appropriate bomb disposal equipment. To deploy, the bin is first filled with air to provide stability, and then water through a standard fire-hose, the water displacing the air through a pressure relief valve. The unit is open at the top and bottom to facilitate deployment and access to the suspect object if required.
The lightweight, compact unit can be adjusted in size to meet customer requirements and the external fabric can be supplied to meet most environmental conditions and situations.
