Black Films aid in fluorescence and photo-protection.May 25, 2007 -
Measuring 200 µm thick, AbsorbMax(TM) Adhesive Films are made of light-absorptive black vinyl, shaped to fit either top or bottom of 96-, 384-, or 1,536-well microplates. They are available in either sterile or non-sterile and are recommended for temperatures from -40 to +80°C. Typically used with black microplates, films can protect light-sensitive samples during storage or minimize stray light, reflection, and well-to-well crosstalk in fluorescence assays.

New Black Films Aid in Fluorescence & Photo-Protection
NEW AbsorbMax(TM) Adhesive Films are 200 µm thickness, light-absorptive black vinyl, shaped to fit either the top or bottom of 96-well, 384-well, or 1536-well microplates.
Typically these NEW films would be used with black microplates, AbsorbMax Films can protect light-sensitive samples during storage or minimize stray light, reflection, and well-to-well crosstalk in fluorescence assays.
AbsorbMax Films are sized to fit within the rims of raised-rim plates. They are available either sterile or non-sterile, and are recommended for temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
